let’s catch up…

Hey friends! It’s definitely been a while… so let me catch you up on a few things!

The beginning of this year started off with a wonderful surprise of my boyfriend asking me to be his forever person (I said yes, of course!). Moving into February, the girls and I had a ton of fun decorating and making valentines and other crafts. Alice is following in her sissy’s footsteps and is becoming quite the artist as well and loves to “paint”!

I went a little crazy with the garden planning - yes, also a little earlier than I should have as well, but here we are! - sunshine is my soul medicine and I am so ambitious about my backyard garden space. I have so many plans to turn it into a dream oasis space to draw, read, and for the girls to play. February and March I started to get serious about planting seeds and got a few indoor greenhouses for them to protect from the vicious Odin Monster… (our cat).

During March, I got back into playing Animal Crossing New Horizons. I’ve been putting in more hours than I’d like to admit but this game brings me so much joy and is so nostalgic for me. Working on making a super fun and cozy island space! Tom Nook still be stealin’ all my bells though….

Lots of drawing and creating as the weather starts to warm up and the sun begins to shine- I as well am thawing out from the winter… and the layers of seasonal depression are finally peeling away.

I am so excited to see what the beautiful month of April brings; it’s my favorite month (and my birthday month!) Do you have anything planned for April??
